More and more young adults have opted out of Christianity and the church. The reason? Author Adam Hamilton says is Christians. Everyone is invited as we read Hamilton’s book, “When Christians Get it Wrong.” In it he names the problems people have with Christianity and the Church as well as the attitudes and behaviors too often practiced by Christians like: judging others, condemning people of other faiths, rejecting science, injecting politics into faith, and being antihomosexual. It has been said that those who read When Christians Get It Wrong “will gain a different way of understanding the issues that keep people away from Christianity and keep Christians from living a more compelling faith. Because, honestly, if we don’t start getting it right, we may lose an entire generation.” Join Pastor Miriam Snider on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m. beginning September 29th for this part DVD/part discussion based study. Sign up today in the back of the Sanctuary or by using the connection card.
